For your account we process your nickname, email address, password hash, registration and email-confirmation times, and necessary session data to provide the account. Passwords are not stored in plain text. The confirmation email is delivered through our mail server to your email provider.
Your home profile stores date of birth, height, country, postal code, search radius, gender, search preferences and dating intent. This test version does not show these details to other users yet. Gender and search preferences may reveal particularly sensitive information. Processing them for matching requires your explicit consent. Withdrawing consent in your account removes gender, search preferences and dating intent. The date, purpose and version of consent and withdrawal are recorded.
The one-time launch email is optional and separate from your account. You can unsubscribe in your account or email us. Earlier preregistration included consent to the launch email, which can also be withdrawn.
Unconfirmed accounts are removed after seven days. Confirmed accounts and profiles remain until account deletion. Sessions expire after seven days; password-reset links after 30 minutes. Clicking “Delete account now” removes the account, profile, sessions, pending reset links, related consent records and correction requests from the active database. Backups are held separately and must be deleted according to the operator’s backup retention plan; deletions since a backup was taken must be reapplied during restoration.
To limit abuse, IP addresses and rate-limit keys are stored temporarily and removed within no more than three days. Login uses a necessary session cookie. The language preference is stored locally in the browser. There are no analytics or advertising trackers and no externally loaded fonts or scripts.
You can download your data, change height and other editable details, and delete your account immediately. The saved birth date cannot be freely changed; corrections can be requested in your account and reviewed by the operator. Requests for access, restriction, objection, withdrawal and other privacy matters can also be sent to the contact address. You can complain to a competent data-protection authority. Optional feedback after deletion is sent only through an email you choose to send yourself.
